Dr. Erfanian is a dedicated podiatrist with specialized training in all aspects of foot and ankle
medicine and surgery.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University before pursuing his
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. During his
medical training, he contributed to research that was presented at the Annual Scientific
Conference of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Erfanian went on to complete a rigorous residency program at the prestigious NewYork-
Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he received advanced training in both conservative and
surgical management of foot and ankle conditions. His residency also included rotations at
NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he worked under leading specialists
in the field. Throughout his training, Dr. Erfanian gained hands-on experience managing a wide
array of foot and ankle disorders, including but not limited to trauma, sports injuries, elective
surgery, diabetic complications and wound care. His interests include all facets of podiatric
medicine, with an emphasis on sports medicine injuries and cosmetic surgery of the foot.
Dr. Erfanian is committed to providing patient-centered care that focuses on improving mobility,
relieving pain, and enhancing overall quality of life. He believes in working collaboratively with
patients to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals and lifestyle, while
emphasizing patient education to ensure that individuals feel informed and supported
throughout their care. Dr. Erfanian stays up to date with the latest in podiatric care through
ongoing education and hands-on training to provide his patients with the most modern and
effective treatment options available.
Dr. Erfanian is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American
Podiatric Medical Association, and the New York Podiatric Medical Association.
