Dr. Vera Malezhik is a board-certified podiatrist and Co-Founding Partner at TOETAL Podiatry. As a former collegiate tennis player, she brings a unique, athletic perspective to podiatric care—helping patients stay active, healthy, and pain-free through individualized treatment plans.
She treats a wide range of podiatric conditions, including bunion and hammertoe deformities, sports-related injuries, warts, heel pain, diabetic foot complications, and arthritis. Dr. Malezhik is also highly experienced in both reconstructive and aesthetic podiatric surgery, combining clinical precision with an eye for form and function.
Dr. Malezhik earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed a four-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She is board certified by both the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Her work has been featured in The Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, with publications including:

Dr. Malezhik is affiliated with Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center and is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association.
